In case you missed the announcement, the Minecraft Server known as TCNations shuts down this month on 20 December 2012. We will be backing up the world and making it available for download like past worlds. At this time, it was more work than we could staff it.
Keep in mind, we might revisit a Minecraft server in the future as we ramp up gaming servers again, but for now stopping it was what we thought best.
Next, Tech Crowd Network's Tech News is being delayed until January time frame as the following good news explains why...
The good news...
Tech Crowd Network is merging with Ashentech (http://ashentech.com) to form a new entity.
The Tech Broadcast will be launching with the new site being created in this merger.
We will be doing a video broadcast, but I need some input as to what kind of broadcast should it be, et cetera.
Should we do 30m - 1h?
Weekly, every other week, monthly with smaller segments dispersed throughout?
Record it or live stream it?
How about a video for email and responses to the broadcast?
Do articles as well?
Crowd-sourced articles? As in articles submitted by you, the Tech Crowd?
Already had one suggestion about doing a broadcast on Gaming News. So we will be doing that in concert with the Tech Crowd Network show.
The Second Project!!
The other project that will be done is Reel B Cinema. A broadcast that will focus on Indie Film news, and review indie films. So far, it looks like it will reunite Jon Young (Formerly of zUnited) and myself.
